Swarovski Effects
Along with the normal colors, Swarovski also produces many of their items with special effects that enhance the beauty of the crystals. Here are the most common ones:
AB - Aurora Borealis - A rainbow effect coating applied with a vacuum technique to half of the crystal. The effect looks quite different depending on the color it is applied to.
AB2X - Aurora Borealis 2X - Same as above, but applied to the entire crystal.
Satin - Also known as Hematite, the effect provides a darker, richer sheen.
